Inspiration... or hating?

You ever saw a magazine or video on television and think "Damn, _____ looks great!"?

I know I have. Take for instance this video:

The girls are all fit and stuff. I watched the video in awe, mesmerized thinking these girls must now they are "It". I didn't pay any attention to the song and the singer, and it is obvious that whoever directed this video (Ray Kay) doesn't want the audience to do that - enjoy watching the girls... gawking, staring, imitating, hating on those girls.

Dilemma. These girls look great right? I'm not to much fascinated by the clothes, hair, or make up... come on, it's a music video. These girls, whoever they are, are well in fit and the video exemplify that in the best light. But, damn why do they have to look great? They couldn't find girls who don't look like they have membership cards to the gym, drink protein shakes, or count calories? Why do I have to watch this video all confused about whether or not these chicks are inspiration, or my daily dose of hating for the day?

I guess I'm hating!

Moving on, I was updating my iTunes playlist looking for new music to buy. I like to buy music on iTunes, it's much easier than googling zShare for the free MP3's... and I don't want to download any P2P programs on my MacBook Pro.

Getting to the point, who is this gem (below) and more music please!

She's very pretty, very fit, and knows how to style it. She goes from a femme look to a more masculine look without looking like (dare I say it) a damn fool. She doesn't look overdone. Even the guys in the video are fit, plus! Hating? Heck no, this is pure inspiration!

Singer, performer Keri Hilson is my first inspiration. (I'm on my way to completing a goal!)
